Canyoneering Courses Policies:
Tuition
Tuition for the Technical Canyoneering Course (ACE-L1) is $495 per person.
Tuition for the 2-Day Advanced Canyoneering Course (ACE-L2) is $495 per person.
Tuition for the 1-Day Intensive Canyon Leader Course (ACE-L3) is $395 per person.
Tuition for the 1-Day Intensive (or 2-Day Regular) Canyon Rescue Course (ACE-L4) is $495 per person.
Tuition for the 2-Day ACE Professional Canyon Guide Assessment (ACE-L5) is $395 per person + $100 for membership in ACE.
Tuition for the 3-Day Swiftwater Canyoneering Course is $695 per person.
Tuition does not include camping, lodging, meals or transportation to and from any training site (unless otherwise stated in the course description).
Registration/Payment/Refunds
Registration requires full payment of the tuition. Tuition is refundable, minus a $25 processing fee, if a 30-day notice is given cancelling your participation in the course. Tuition is non-refundable but may be put toward a future class within the following year if a notice of 7-29 days is given cancelling your participation in the course. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable if cancellation is made within 7 days of a scheduled course.
You will be required to sign a Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk. Please bring emergency contact info to the first day/night of class.
Refresher Course
If you have taken a full Technical Canyoneering Course or Advanced Technical Canyoneering Course from Uber Adventures or Adventure Plus within the last 3 years, you may repeat and participate in one of our Technical Canyoneering Courses or Advanced Canyoneering Courses, respectively, for a discounted price of $250 on a space available basis.
Included with Tuition
Tuition includes canyoneering instruction, course handouts (if any), and use of all group canyoneering equipment, i.e.: ropes, webbing, rope bags, rapides, rigging hardware, a variety of descenders, etc … and a CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION! We encourage you to bring your own minimal beginning technical equipment for canyoneering, but what you don’t have will be provided.
Cancellations
We reserve the right to change or cancel any itinerary at any time if there are not enough students registered or if in our opinion, conditions so require. If we must cancel a course, you may either join a future course or request a full refund. Inclement weather is not necessarily reason enough to cancel a course. If we believe we can teach a majority of the curriculum in less-than-ideal weather, we will! If there isn’t sufficient time given to practical exercises due to conditions, you may attend the relevant day of a future course, free of charge.
Referral Bonus/Incentive
Refer your colleagues, friends and family to a full canyoneering course and receive a $25 credit toward a future course or an Uber Adventures sun shirt! Just let us know they are signing up because of you, and once they’ve completed their course, you’ll receive your incentive! (Please help us keep track!)

• Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.
Uber Adventures Messaging Terms and Conditions
1. The messaging program consists of general conversational messaging to answer questions and provide support to customers.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text ‘STOP’ to the phone number from which you received messages. After you send the SMS message ‘STOP’ to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at rappel@uberadventures.net.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency will vary based on communication needs. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
